Senator Cindy Rosenwald represents Senate District 13, which includes six out of Nashua's nine wards. Cindy is the Deputy Democratic Leader in the NH Senate for the.
In the Senate, Cindy serves on the Finance, Ways and Means, and Fiscal Committees. She has also chaired the Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission since its inception in 2020. She has received numerous awards from human service advocacy groups for her legislative work.
Before getting elected to the NH Senate, she served as a State Representative for 14 years. Throughout her career in public service, Cindy has advocated for affordable housing, child care, health care, and policies to help working families.
Cindy has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree from Rivier University. Prior to taking office, she was a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She has also worked in hospital marketing and public relations and formerly was a vice president at Ted Bates Advertising/New York, where she worked with health care and packaged foods clients.
Cindy and her husband, Dr. Peter Klementowicz, have two adult children and one grandchild (with a second on the way!).
